CERAMIC COATING

Is a multi-layerable, clear, liquid Nano-ceramic coating. When cured, this technology will transform itself on the surface to a permanent, durable yet flexible glass shield. Ceramic coating can be described as an additional clear coat, with 3 times the hardness and self-cleaning properties. It has been extensively tested by SGS – The world’s leading independent testing body. Ceramic coating once cured, is measured to have hardness above 9H. Normal clear coat has hardness between 2H and 4H. The increase in the hardness of the coated surface is vast. This makes it the hardest paint coating on the market today. This new glass shield prevents minor scratches to your clearcoat and acts as a sacrificial layer. This preserves the original factory paint. Any surface scratches that happen in the coating are easily removed with light polishing which will not weaken the integrity of the original clear coat. How To Install Ceramic Coating

The preparation is the key, we take extra steps to make sure the surface is completely ready before starting.

The first step to apply ceramic coating in Toronto is to wash the car properly, using a foam gun and two bucket method. We like to remove all the dirt that is invisible, now we move to remove the elements and contaminations and stick to the paint. Iron decontamination, tar and bug removal to be ready for clay bar. Clay bar or manual decontamination will make the surface smooth and free from contaminations. It is important that the paint is defect free as ceramic coating will seal all the defects. One stage polish to enhance the paint or paint correction in some cases is necessary. Now Lets go ahead and remove the polishing oil with panel wipe, this will help in bonding the ceramic coating. It is recommended that ceramic coating is installed in cool garage or where it’s not in direct contact with sunlight. Temperature plays a big role in installation, same as humidity. We work in small sections going up/down and left/right, then wiped once it flashes in a 3 step towel wipe down. Inspection is very important before the coating completely bonds to the paint. Now we just have to avoid getting the paint went as it’s curing and it can cause water spots.
